How to install iOS 10 beta 1 on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch



If you have already registered on apple developer program, then you can download iOS 10 beta 1 to install on compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. iOS 10 will be the next generation major mobile operating system bringing a number of new features. Public beta of iOS 10 for testers is due in July and we expect to download the final version for all consumers in September this year. Following below guide will help you to download and install iOS 10 beta on your iOS device the right way. 

Without iPhone 4s, 4, iPad 3, 2, original iPad mini and 5th generation iPod touch, all other iOS devices can be upgraded with iOS 10 beta 1. How to install iOS 10 beta 1


Please keep in mind to take complete backup of your device using iTunes or iCloud before begin the installation procedure, because when you something goes wrong, you can restore your device using the backup.
  1. You will need register on apple developer program first to download iOS 10 beta. If you are already registered, then skip this step.
  2. Login into account section using your apple ID.
  3. Register your UDID. To find UDID of your device, plug your device into iTunes, select it and then click on the serial number for it to show the UDID. Now copy this number.
  4. Click on ‘Certificate, Identifiers & Profiles from the main account section of the page. Click on ‘All’ from device section and click ‘+’ from right hand panel and add your device UDID.
  5. Go to the Desktop > Download section. Select your device and begin to downloading the required iTunes restorable iOS 10 beta firmware file.
  6. Make sure that iTunes installed on your PC. Then launch iTunes and connect your idevice to your PC. Now to install the beta, windows users hold the Shift key and mac users hold the Alt key and click on the ‘Restore iPhone…’ button. Now select the IPSW firmware file. Select the iOS 10 beta file you downloaded earlier.
  7. iTunes will install iOS 10 beta 1 on your iOS device. Happy testing.
