How to be a Professional Teacher

Here are the following five guidelines on how to be a professional teacher.

         1. Inspire the trust of your clients-the students and parents 
         It is very important to impress you clients or your students in one academic year because to motivate them in their studies. Giving them a courage is also needed so that your students would enjoy studying.


            2. Dress like a professional 
In teaching profession proper grooming is necessary because we need to look presentable and nice to our students. There are some instances that our students may be distracted because they choose to criticize your grooming rather than to focus to your lesson. Proper hygiene is important for us teacher and good grooming demonstrates self-esteem and confidence.

            3.Always be on time for work
If you are a teacher you know that you should always be on time in your workplace. Time management skills are important in order to finish your work on time. If you are always late in your class the tendency is you will not be able to attain your objectives because you didn’t finish your work. Engaging with this profession you should have give your 100% effort in teaching.
             

           4.Be prepared 
A teacher should always be well prepared before entering the class. This is the most important rule of being a teacher because if you don’t master your subject matter or your instructional materials are not applicable your objectives would not be successful. If you don't have a clear lesson-plan down on paper, then make sure you have a mental one. You should know about how long each activity will take and have an additional activity prepared in case you have extra time. A teacher carries a big responsibility in his /her classroom and one reason is that all students are depending on their teacher.

5. Simplify your lesson
As a teacher you need to simplify your lessons so that everyone can comprehend and understand the lesson. Its hard for a student when their teacher give them more complex lesson because there are some students who are slow learners.Our goal is to focus on one core concept that we can really drive hone for the students. We want to help students have enduring understanding of the core concept of each lesson.
